Packet Design Names Steve Ruddock EMEA Sales Director


PALO ALTO, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- Jan. 4, 2006 -- Packet Design, Inc., leader in the field of route analytics technology for managing large IP networks, has named Steve Ruddock director of sales for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). In the newly created position he reports to Michel Maeso, executive vice president of worldwide sales.



Ruddock comes to Packet Design from Netscout Systems, where he had been the sales director for Northern Europe since 2003. Previously he had spent six years at Nortel Networks, where he had held the positions of business development manager and sales manager for enterprise accounts. He has also held sales management positions at Cabletron Systems, Racal Datacom, 3Com and Hewlett-Packard. Ruddock, 42, holds a B.Sc. degree in electrical and electronic engineering and an M.B.A., both from the University of Bath.
