ISO Group Enhances Fax Communications with FaxCore

TMCnet Contributing Editor

ISO Group has selected the FaxCore solution to automate company fax communications. FaxCore Corporation, a provider of fax and document server automation solutions made the announcement today that the supplier of full scale procurement services for the aerospace, automtive, defense and electronics industries will implement FaxCore to streamline inbound and outbound faxing.

Upon deployment of FaxCore, ISO Group will process about 50 to 100 outbound faxes and 75 inbound faxes daily surrounding its communications with buyers, manufacturers and vendors. The implementation partner selected for the deployment was TransOptions Messaging, Inc. (TMI), based in Parker, CO.

For the past two years, and before selecting FaxCore, ISO Group had been using GFI FaxMaker, but the system proved to be lacking as the company’s fax needs continued to grow. Mike Gibson, vice-president of technology for the ISO Group acknowledged that the system was not reliable as it continued to keep fax lines open, creating bottlenecks for sending and receiving faxes.

Gibson noted that when lines get held open, the faxing of purchase orders and other important customer correspondence would fail without notification. ISO Group also experienced issues with GFI FaxMaker’s exchange connector failing, which impeded the flow of incoming faxes.

As a cutting edge technology company, ISO Group was immediately drawn to the fact that FaxCore integrated with its internal applications with a change that involved as little as five lines of code, according to Gibson. ISO Group needed a turnkey solution and FaxCore proved to be the clear choice.

FaxCore is positioned as providing small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and enterprise-class operations with a powerful, Web-based solution to centralize, control and manage all types of fax communications as well as streamline business processes. With an intuitive, browser-based interface, users are able to send and receive faxes with the same convenience of e-mail.

Tom Linhard, Director of Sales for FaxCore, Inc., contributed that fax plays a critical role in the business operations of ISO Group and with FaxCore, the company will now be able to enjoy failsafe fax communications and reliable service levels that its previous solutions was unable to deliver.

As swiftly as technology has moved in the past few years, it has left many fax machines idle in offices across the world as communications have moved to electronic form. For many industries, however, this move has not been as drastic and faxing is still an important communications channel.

One way to make this communications channel more efficient is to combine it with the electronic side of communications for ease of use and failsafe processes. Any company that relies on this type of communications with its customers cannot afford for transmissions and receptions to fail or bottlenecks to slow operations. A solution that is not only automated but that can also be tracked online will provide the best method to ensure no communication is lost and high levels of customer service can be maintained.
