Speed-Dating and Venture Funding Collide at Speedpitching Luncheon; 10 Entrepreneurs to Pitch to Dozens of Utah Investors During One-Hour, Speed-Dating Styled Luncheon.


OREM, Utah --(Business Wire)-- Nov. 1, 2005 -- FundingUtah.com will combine speed-dating with venture funding at its first-ever speedpitching luncheon next week.

The luncheon will feature 10 of Utah's top entrepreneurs giving five-minute pitches to several groups of three-five accredited angel investors, rotating in a fast-paced, speed-dating style. The luncheon will take place at the Provo Downtown Marriott on Nov. 8, at noon.



"The speedpitching luncheon will benefit busy investors and entrepreneurs alike," said Brock Blake, CEO of FundingUtah.com. "Angel investors will see a variety of plans in a new, high-speed format, and entrepreneurs will be able to pitch their plans to more investors in a small space of time."

Representatives from vSpring Capital, Utah Angels, 0-60 Ventures, Olympus Angels, Blake Capital, Infobase Ventures and others will be in attendance.


Presenting companies include Frog Marketing, LingoTek, NetFundz, RappidMapper Inc., SimpliPhones, WriteExpress and others.
