Lackawanna College Selects Jenzabar's Campus-Wide Enterprise And E-Learning Systems

Tight Integration Between Departmental Modules, Comprehensive Installation Planning Key to College's Decision

In addition to Jenzabar EX, one of Jenzabar's flagship enterprise systems, the College will implement Jenzabar's industry-leading campus portal, Jenzabar's Internet Campus Solution (JICS); along with Jenzabar's Learning Management System (LMS) and a range of Jenzabar Constituent Relationship Modules (CRMs) to connect all constituents 24x7, including CRM Candidate, CRM Constituent, CRM Faculty, CRM Staff, and CRM Student.

Key to Lackawanna's decision was the tight integration between all of Jenzabar's business and academic departmental modules, as well as the ease of Internet use for Web-based activities including student registration, online learning, and faculty grade reporting. Jenzabar's comprehensive project management plan for system implementation was important to the College as well.

Jenzabar EX, a user-friendly system built on Microsoft(R) technology, links all administrative offices through a centralized database and delivers a full suite of powerful reporting tools and flexible reporting tools. Jenzabar's student information systems will help the College manage data through the entire student lifecycle, from Admissions and Registration through Financial Aid, Student Life, and Advising to Alumni Development. The ERP system's fully-integrated business office systems will streamline administrative tasks in Human Resources, Purchasing, and Finance, including General Ledger, Accounts, Payable, and Accounts Receivable.

Through integration with Jenzabar EX, Jenzabar's role-based campus portal and e-learning system will provide students, faculty, staff, and alumni with any-time, anywhere access to a full range of academic and administrative information online, including registration, course syllabi and reading lists, grades, and student accounts. In addition, JICS and Jenzabar's Learning Management System will offer Lackawanna College constituents a full range of communication tools, including e-mail and calendars, chat rooms, and discussion forums.
