Onset Computer Corporation Introduces New Thermocouple Logger BOURNE, Mass. --(Business Wire)-- Sept. 20, 2004 -- New HOBO(R) U12 Thermocouple Logger Accepts J, K, S, or T Thermocouple Probes, Monitors Temperatures up to 3200 degrees FOnset Computer Corporation, the leader in reliable, battery-powered data loggers, today introduced the HOBO U12 Thermocouple Logger, a 12-bit resolution data logger for measuring and recording temperatures from J, K, S, or T thermocouple probes. When combined with a weatherproof enclosure, the U12 Thermocouple Logger can be used in a variety of outdoor temperature monitoring applications, such as tracking temperatures during controlled forest fire burns. Key features include: -- Choice of external probes - Single-channel logger accommodates J, K, S, and T thermocouple type probes (purchased separately) with standard subminiature connectors. Fine-tip thermocouple probes provide fast response times and enable easy, non-invasive placement inside small objects. -- Wide temperature range - logger can measure and record temperatures from -200 degrees F to 3200 degrees F -- Flexible software support - users can choose either Windows or Mac OS X software to plot and analyze data. -- Direct USB interface - enables high-speed data offload (43,000 measurements in as little as 30 seconds). For data plotting and analysis, Onset offers GreenLine(R) software (for Windows), and HOBOware(TM) software (for Macintosh).
