Players control the movie's hero, Kyle Reese, through a variety of missions battling the "Hunter Killer" robots, saving other human resistance fighters and recovering the parts necessary to assemble the time displacement device which triggers the plot of the first film. Gamers can enjoy the top-down action by battling through 12 different levels in the Campaign Mode or in the all out destruction of the Survival Mode. Along the way, players can collect and toggle through numerous weapons including a carbine laser pistol, plasma cannon and rockets as well as employ stealth tactics to destroy the armies of Terminators they face.
