TeleCommunication Systems gets $2.8 million VSAT and baseband equipment order


Dec 10, 2012 (TELECOMWORLDWIRE via COMTEX) -- TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: TSYS) said it has received funding of $2.8 million from the US Army for X- and Ku-Band MICRO VSAT satellite communications equipment.

The US Army Project Manager for the Warfighter Information Network - Tactical (PM WIN-T) Commercial Satellite Terminal Program is funding this procurement through the Army's $5 billion World-Wide Satellite Systems contract vehicle.
