A parish church in Warwickshire is being offered pounds 3,750 a year to install a mobile phone mast in its tower. Mobile phone masts have been linked with cancer and other diseases. The parochial church council at St Mark's in Milverton, Leamington Spa, is considering the offer from phone giant Vodafone which would help the church to carry out missionary work in Africa. Most of the congregation is said to be against the idea. Let's pray that the right decision is made. |
