StrikeIron Appoints Katie Fabiszak as Vice President of Marketing

Cary, NC, Feb 05, 2013 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) -- StrikeIron, the cloud leader in data quality and data communications solutions, today announced it has appointed Katie Fabiszak as Vice President of Marketing. Fabiszak's primary responsibilities will include delivering strategic insight for corporate marketing, sales enablement and demand generation.

Fabiszak comes to StrikeIron from DataFlux Corporation, where she spent thirteen years overseeing marketing and international expansion, focusing on go-to-market strategy, branding, thought leadership and demand generation.

"There is an enormous opportunity in the market today to leverage cloud-based strategies and technologies," said Sean O'Leary, CEO of StrikeIron. "We are delighted to have a respected industry veteran like Katie join our team to expand our business in a market that is growing exponentially." Fabiszak will be responsible for spearheading growth of the company's marketing initiatives. Leveraging her deep experience in the data management market, she will evolve the branding and promotion of StrikeIron's IronCloud Platform - a cloud-enablement platform built on market leading Data-as-a-Service delivery technology.

"I've had the pleasure of working with Katie for the better part of a decade," said Shawn Rogers, Vice President of Research for Enterprise Management Associates. "Katie excels at developing business relationships and establishing networks. Her experience and background will undoubtedly provide value in building out a StrikeIron cloud community." "StrikeIron emerged as the first to market with a Data-as-a-Service technology platform," Fabiszak said. "Accurate data deliverability is absolutely key in helping organizations achieve actionable insight from their data. With the IronCloud Platform, the company is in a great position to bring a new solution to organizations that need a foundation to support cloud-based applications. I'm incredibly excited to join a company that has been innovating in the cloud for the past decade." Last year, StrikeIron increased its global revenues 65% by helping its customers cleanse and manage critical data. In 2012, the company doubled its employment and expects to double its employee base yet again in 2013 to meet growing customer demand. Focusing on key business initiatives such as enhancing sales and marketing, achieving a 360 degree view of the customer and improving operations, organizations have found success by leveraging StrikeIron solutions.

"The Data-as-a-Service as well as Platform-as-a-Service markets are still evolving and will continue to go through a period of transition," said Fabiszak. "Traditional on-premise software solutions have become very complex to deploy and to use. Many legacy systems are incapable of managing and leveraging big data. The migration to a cloud-based platform is a strategic step forward for most organizations. StrikeIron has helped some of the world's most recognized brands uncover the potential in their data and I'm looking forward to helping evolve the customer community."
