Solomon Islands : O3B NETWORKS inks deal with OUR TELEKOM [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) O3b Networks has entered into a multi-year agreement for provision of trunking services to Solomon Telekom Company (trading as Our Telekom). As per the deal, Our Telekom is to utilise the satellite operator as backhaul provider from the Solomon Islands to the internet. Presently, Our Telekom is launching ADSL and embarking on 3G implementation to the main Islands. Through the O3b service, Our Telekom will be able to significantly increase its bandwidth and boost the speed and quality of service for business and residential customers in Honiara, the capital city of the Solomon Islands and, eventually to the Outer Islands.
