SK Telecom Q3 net income decreases


Nov 12, 2012 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- SK Telecom, a provider of mobile phone services, wireless data services, and information communication services, has reported a net income of KRW175.6 billion for the third quarter of 2012, compared to KRW383.9 billion for the same quarter of 2011.



Revenue for the third quarter of 2012 was KRW4.13 trillion, compared to KRW4.06 trillion for the same quarter of 2011.

Operating income for the third quarter of 2012 was KRW300.7 billion, compared to KRW531.4 billion for the same quarter of 2011.


SK Telecom's CFO Ahn Seung-yun said, "SK Telecom will build a solid ICT business structure by fully leveraging its solid LTE subscriber growth momentum, B2B business growth and SK Planet's strong business performance that has been clearly witnessed in the third quarter.
