But, older USB connections won't be able to have the 1 Gbps speeds that USB 3.0 can offer. To make the Gigaglider more convenient for travelers, it was designed to be small and compact enough to fit easily into a pocket or computer bag. And after a one-time driver installation, using the Gigaglider is as simple as connecting the wires. That way, travelers will never be stuck without a fast, inexpensive internet connection in almost any hotel. The adapter consists of a little box that's smaller than an average cell phone with a USB cable attached to one end and an Ethernet port on the other end.
