Salesforce Announces Salesforce Tower Chicago, Commits to Adding 1,000 New Local JobsCHICAGO, Nov. 30, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Salesforce (NYSE:CRM), the global leader in CRM, today announced Salesforce Tower Chicago, significantly expanding the company's regional headquarters in Chicago. As part of the expansion, Salesforce plans to add 1,000 new jobs locally, over the next five years, helping fuel the city's economic development. Salesforce employees will start moving into the Salesforce Tower Chicago upon completion which is slated for 2023. Plans for the Tower include an immersive lobby experience and top "Ohana Floor" – an open hospitality space for Salesforce employees, customers and partners, which will also be available for nonprofits and local education groups to use on weeknights and weekends at no cost. The future Salesforce Tower Chicago will be located on the Chicago riverfront, on the site formerly known as Wolf Point South. Designed by award-winning architects Pelli Clarke Pelli, and developed by the Kennedy Family and Hines, Salesforce Tower Chicago will rise 57 stories above the Chicago River, in the heart of the city's River North neighborhood. Salesforce Tower Chicago is one of six Tower investments the company has announced in key markets including its headquarters in San Francisco, New York, London, Indianapolis, and Atlanta.
