Rackspace Chief Security Officer Brian Kelly Shares New Research from the Cloud Security AllianceSAN ANTONIO, April 16, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Cloud Security Alliance’s (CSA) Cloud Cyber Incident Sharing Center (CISC), an organization of which Rackspace Chief Security Officer Brian Kelly is co-chair, today announced the publication of a new report in conjunction with the RSA Conference in San Francisco.
The report, Building a Foundation for Successful Threat Intelligence Exchange, helps organizations navigate the complexity of threat-intelligence sharing programs. It is the first in a series that will provide a framework to help corporations seeking to participate in threat intelligence exchange programs that enhance their event data and incident response capabilities. Kelly weighs in on the report stating, “While any organization with at least one person dedicated to threat intellgence should consider participation in an exchange to enhance its own data, we [the CISC] wanted to further assist security teams with both emerging and mature internal threat intelligence capabilities. Because the cloud industry is already taking advantage of many of the advanced technologies that support threat intelligence exchange, and has such a unique and large footprint across the IT infrastructure, we believe that we have a real opportunity to make threat intelligence sharing pervasive.” To view Kelly’s blog post on the news, visit https://blog.cloudsecurityalliance.org/2018/04/16/building-a-foundation-for-successful-cyber-threat-intelligence-exchange-a-new-guide-from-csa/ Media interested in connecting with Kelly at RSA should contact [email protected] Event Details: For more information on the RSA conference, visit https://www.rsaconference.com/events/us18 About Rackspace Media Contact: A photo accompanying this announcement is available at http://resource.globenewswire.com/Resource/Download/e4f822d3-dbbf-4901-bfc6-34deb5b7d1f6 |
