Proteintech Announces Winner of 2018 Best Lab Manager

Proteintech, the benchmark in antibodies, today announced the winner of the 2018 Best Lab Manager. Receiving hundreds of votes, Kelley Brodsky of the University of Colorado-Denver has been awarded $1000 towards her research.

Kelley Brodsky was one of five lab managers from over 400 entries across the globe selected for public voting. Kelley goes beyond the required roles as one nominator notes, "She has helped me to navigate how to apply for scholarships while out of the country (for which I received funding), she has helped me eradicate a recurring yeast contamination in my cell lines, and has been a cheerleader for me even when I felt like giving up. Kelley has always been there for me to hep troubleshoot, design experiments, and pick the best reagents to buy. She is without a doubt worthy of this award and recognition."

"Kelley is a model of how to optimize the lab for science, career development, and life," Dr. William Olds, Scientific Officer at Proteintech, said.

Proteintech supports the careers and development of scientists through a variety of initiatives, including annual travel grant competitions, mentorship awards, and a career podcast, The Incubator (available on Itunes).
