PowerDMS and AAAHC Form Agreement to Streamline the Accreditation Process [Professional Services Close - Up]

(Professional Services Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) In a continued effort to streamline the accreditation process, PowerDMS, a document management solution company, and the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Care (AAAHC) have reached an agreement granting ambulatory care providers the ability to access AAAHC Standards electronically using the PowerDMS Standards tool.

According to a release, through the agreement, PowerDMS will upload all AAAHC Standards manuals into their cloud-based application, making them available to users of the PowerDMS Standards tool. Users will be able to view manuals electronically; use the Intelligent Search feature to locate all related documents; compare manual revisions side-by-side; and receive notifications when a change or update is made. Through the integration of the Standards and Policy tools within PowerDMS, users can attach policies related to specific standards to show proof of compliance.

"We are excited to have reached this agreement with PowerDMS," said John Burke, PhD, President and CEO, AAAHC. "We look forward to a long, beneficial relationship, designed to assist organizations with reducing risk and liability, preparing for, achieving and maintaining accreditation." "AAAHC is a highly regarded accreditation body and we are honored to have reached this agreement with them," said Josh Brown, Founder and CEO, PowerDMS. "Our main goal is to help healthcare organizations streamline their accreditation process, allowing them to focus efforts on their organization's important mission of providing quality patient care." The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) is a provider of ambulatory health care accreditation.
