NEPC 35th Anniversary: New Visual Identity, Website Part of Commitment to Core Values

2021 marks the 35th anniversary of NEPC, a leading research-driven investment consultant and private wealth advisor. To help celebrate this milestone, the firm today unveiled its new visual identity and website.

"NEPC has grown significantly over the past 35 years, and the commitment to our clients and employees has grown with it," said Steve Charlton, Partner and Director of Consulting Services at NEPC. "To celebrate our 35-year history of success, we wanted to visually represent our growth while staying true to who we are. We will continue to innovate with diverse thinking and fresh insight while always being guided by our core values."

To ensure NEPC remained rooted in its own history, the source of inspiration for the new visual identity came from the NEPC logo. The logo is an original design by Beverly Charlton, beloved wife of NEPC Founder and Chairman Emeritus Richard Charlton. It was first introduced in 1986at the inception of the firm and has remained a recognizable symbol ever since.

The new design draws inspiration from the crosshairs that segment the logo into four quadrants. Many of the central graphic elements of the new NEPC visual identity use a crosshair element in a similar way, segmenting photos into quadrants that each contain a shade of NEPC blue.

The firm's values also served as inspiration for two core visual elements of key NEPC brand photos: water and city skylines. Photos of scenes with water communicate a sense of calm, control and tranquility. City skylines act as an ambitious counterpart, communicating growth and structures built for the future. Both elements capture movement, signifying NEPC's forward-looking approach.

NEPC's new website showcases the firm's new aesthetic and was created with the user in mind, ensuring that each current or prospective institutional or private wealth client can easily access information tailored to their unique needs.

Both the new visual identity and website were unveiled at NEPC's Virtual Investment Conference.
