NEC Announces Hutton as a New Wireless Solutions Distributor for NEC iPASOLINK® EX-Advanced

NEC Corporation of America (NEC) today announced Hutton Communications (News - Alert), Inc. as a wireless solutions distributor for NEC's iPASOLINK® EX-Advanced ultra-compact radio solution for data backhaul.

Hutton is a wholesale distributor of telecommunications equipment and wireless communications solutions that serves a variety of industries. Through the new strategic alliance, Hutton's customers will benefit from the NEC (News - Alert) iPASOLINK EX-Advanced radio's high-quality broadband connection that can be maintained even in severe weather conditions.

The iPASOLINK EX-Advanced radio is an ultra-compact communication system with Adaptive Modulation and Bandwidth (News - Alert) (AMBR), which enables 10Gbps wireless throughput capacity in a single channel. The integrated interface allows for more efficient transmission of high capacity data to core networks using optical fiber technology.

Introduced in 2016, NEC iPASOLINK EX-Advanced is now among the most field-proven 10G microwave radio products on the market. It will become Hutton's premier product in the 80GHz (millimeter wave) space. The product's current hardware is carrier-grade, highly feature rich and supports scalability from 2G up to 10G on the same platform, negating the need for expensive network disruptions.

"Our customers have expressed a real need for the kind of time and cost savings that can be achieved with the 10G wireless throughput provided by NEC's iPASOLINK EX-Advanced," said Wade Clark, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Hutton Communications. "We are excited to offer such a market-leading ultra-compact radio solution."

Since NEC first introduced this solution in August 2016, the wireless ISP market and enterprise customers alike have responded well to the product's value and unique capabilities.

"We've already received great feedback from customers that have implemented the NEC iPASOLINK EX-Advanced, with many seeing a greatly reduced cot and improved time to deployment over traditional fiber solutions," said Matt Engelmann, Vice President, Business Unit Leader Service Provider at NEC Corporation of America. "I'm confident that Hutton's customers will benefit greatly from this offering."

Hutton will target all if its core customers with this solution, including carriers and service providers, enterprises, industrial customers, state and local government, as well as value added resellers.
