Natixis Investment Managers Named a Diversity Champion in the InvestmentNews 2021 Excellence in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Awards

Natixis Investment Managers (Natixis IM) was recognized as a Diversity Champion in the InvestmentNews 2021 Excellence in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Awards during the fourth annual summit and awards program that took place in New York on September 21, 2021. The recognition program aims to tell the story of firms and individuals using their success, leadership skills and willingness to implement and advocate for diversity and inclusion within the financial advisory industry.

"Natixis IM is proud to be recognized among those who are making a concerted effort to create an inclusive industry where all employees can thrive," said Tracey Flaherty, Global Head of Corporate Social Responsibility and Public Affairs at Natixis Investment Managers. "A rewarding work environment fosters innovation and constructive ideas, which can deliver better outcomes for our clients."

Natixis IM was selected a winner out of more than 120 collective nominations by the InvestmentNews staff and an advisory board of industry experts. Firms were recognized for their ability to inspire others from diverse backgrounds to join, flourish and bring their true selves to work in the financial services industry. In presenting a Diversity Champion award to Natixis IM, InvestmentNews cited Natixis Investment Managers Solutions' AIA Racial Equity Investment Portfolios launched in early 2021. The Racial Equity investment approach seeks to identify companies that are leaders in or help to promote diversity, equity and inclusion; and avoid or divest from companies that cause, contribute to, exploit or profit from racial injustice. Natixis IM utilizes research and proprietary data from third-party providers, including JUST Capital and Venn Diagram Partners, to identify companies that are appropriate to include in the portfolios.

Natixis IM's Global Equal Opportunities Advancement Scholarship program and its partnerships with ublic charter schools in Boston and San Francisco were additional initiatives considered during the Excellence in Diversity, Equity and Inclusions Awards judging process. Both programs focus on expanding the pipeline of diverse candidates within the financial services industry by providing underrepresented youth scholarships along with internship and mentoring opportunities at Natixis.

Natixis IM has a long-standing commitment to building a diverse and inclusive workforce. To learn more about our commitment to diversity, visit https://www.im.natixis.com/us/diversity-and-inclusion.
