Lantronix launches new vSLM to integrate and manage IT equipmentNov 14, 2012 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Lantronix, Inc., a provider of smart M2M connectivity solutions, has launched its new vSLM, or Virtual Secure Lantronix Management Appliance, a master control center designed to integrate and manage IT equipment in the enterprise. The new vSLM, a follow-on virtual software version of the current rack-mountable SLM appliance, is a 'master control center' that integrates equipment connected by Lantronix console servers, KVMs, and remote power managers. vSLM also supports access and management of non-Lantronix devices such as servers and other network devices. Through a centralized point of access and common interface, it enables administrators to manage and access equipment in the enterprise.
