'Kabel Deutschland launches 100 Mbps in Hanover, Munich'


Apr 29, 2010 (DMEUROPE via COMTEX) -- German cable network operator Kabel Deutschland (KDG) has started offering 60 Mbps and 100 Mbps broadband services in Hanover and Munich.

The services are based on Docsis 3.0 technology. As introduction offer, KDG offers its 60 Mbps and 100 Mbps Internet & Phone bundles cost EUR 32.90 a month and EUR 42.90 a month in combination with a twelve months contract. The monthly fees become EUR 39.90 and EUR 49.90 after the contract period. Existing Internet & Phone customers will be able to upgrade to the Docsis 3.0 services from the summer. KDG plans to launch Docsis 3.0 in Berlin, Dresden and Leipzig during the coming months.
