Inocybe Technologies Continues to Grow with Additional Open Source Networking Expert Hires

Anton Ivanov and David Spence - Leading Open Networking Experts Join Inocybe

MONTREAL, Sept. 19, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - Inocybe Technologies announced today the hiring of open networking veterans, Anton Ivanov and David Spence. With their cumulative experience in Software-Defined Networking (SDN) controller and virtual network data plane development, they further expand Inocybe's global team of Open Networking expertise. These latest hires continue Inocybe's growth, having hired a number of top contributors to the OpenDaylight project last month to support the growing market demand for Open Networking solutions within both the enterprise and evolving service provider ecosystems.

Cloud, IoT and 5G are changing how modern networks are operated and deployed at scale. Anton has over 18 years of experience as a leader in the networking and software industry, most recently developing, plugins and packaging for OpenDaylight, high speed virtual network data planes and architecting API driven broadband vCPE systems. Having recently served as a Senior Software Engineer for Brocade, Anton has previously held leadership roles at Cisco, British Telecom, Level 3 Communications and others.

David has been leading development in the software industry for over 19 years. Most recently contributing to OpenDaylight projects, including JSON RPC 2.0 and Data Export/Import and developing a micro-agent management/control plane. Previously as Principal Software Engineer for Brocade, David has held development leadership roles at Cisco, Velocix (Alcatel-Lucent), and UK start-ups.
