Independent Analyst Firm Positions Verisae as a Leader in Enterprise Energy Management Software

MINNEAPOLIS --(Business Wire)--

Verisae, a leading global provider of maintenance, energy and environmental solutions, has been listed as a leader in the "Green Quadrant® Energy Management Software (Global) January 2013" report by Verdantix. Verdantix analyzed and compared 14 global enterprise energy management software providers based on capabilities and market momentum. The study finds that customers' requirements are continuing to increase in complexity and five suppliers, including Verisae, currently lead the enterprise energy management software market.

"In the Leaders' Quadrant for the second year running, Verisae has built its energy and industry domain expertise in big box retail, food service and grocery retail by offering granular solutions for industry-specific operational assets," says David Metcalfe, Verdantix CEO. "Verisae targets the connected facility, and boasts a blue-chip client list including Costco, Sainsbury's, Target (News - Alert), Tesco and Walmart," added Metcalfe.

The report goes on to state that Verisae is ahead of its peers for commercial and retail building energy data capture because of best-in-class integration with BMS, HVACs and refrigeration units. In addition, Verisae has a leadership position in energy asset management because of best-in-class functionality to automatically identify anomalies in the data, such as refrigerant leaks, and initiate alerts with asset-level control. Verisae also achieved high scores in master data management and data architecture and scalability.

"Verisae's software-as-a-service (SaaS (News - Alert)) platform cotinues to gain independent analyst and customer recognition globally," says Jerry Dolinsky, CEO of Verisae. "Our energy management products help companies cut facility management costs significantly and improve their overall corporate efficiency so they can grow more sustainable and profitable as a business."

Alisdair McDougall, Analyst and report author goes on to say, "Verisae's product strategy assumes retail customers - who face the challenge of collecting data from thousands of stores and managing related environmental issues such as fugitive F-Gas emissions - will want to combine asset, facility, energy and environmental management into one integrated platform."

Verisae's "Connected Facility" platform ties maintenance, asset, energy and environmental data together so that organizations can manage the full range of their operations. When energy and asset data are correlated, operations can be managed in real-time and results can be extrapolated to determine the true business impact.
