HARMAN Announces Strategic Association with Samsung SmartThingsHARMAN International, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Samsung (News - Alert) Electronics Co., Ltd., focused on connected technologies for automotive, consumer and enterprise markets, today announced its engineering partnership with Samsung SmartThings, the industry leader for consumer IoT technology and the easiest way for people to turn a traditional home into a smart home with sensors, smart devices and a native mobile application. This collaboration is between the Samsung SmartThings R&D team and HARMAN Connected Services (HCS), a division of HARMAN International that supports hundreds of enterprises around the globe to accelerate the transformation to the connected world through cloud, mobility and analytics solutions. To fast-track the growth of the SmartThings' ecosystem, a global team of HCS engineers will help develop and support the SmartThings application and device development.
