Extreme Reality, developer of Extreme Motion and Extreme UI motion capture technology, will collaborate with Haier on the development of full-body motion gaming for the company's upcoming Android (News - Alert)-based Smart TVs. The collaboration is expected to bring a series of preinstalled motion games bundles using the device's standard built-in 2D camera to deliver an industry leading gaming experience without the need for costly 3D cameras or extra hardware.

Extreme Reality's motion games are produced using the Extreme Motion software development kit (SDK) and represents the first full-body motion game for Android-based Smart TVs and tablets that is able to use a systems existing 2D camera. he games will also be available on select Android tablets later in the year. At the CES (News - Alert) the innovative concept of motion games on a 2D camera will be showcased at the Haier booth, LVCC Central Hall, booth 10939.



Extreme Reality's patent-protected Extreme Motion technology is ideal for Smart TVs and mobile devices. The technology captures a user's motion in difficult noise, lighting and distance settings using a standard VGA camera. The bundle of motion games represents a shift in full-body motion gaming from 3D to mainstream 2D game platforms.

Extreme Reality will demonstrate its Extreme Motion and Extreme UI technologies on multiple platforms including Android-based systems, Smart TVs and PCs in the LVCC South Hall 2, booth 25500.
