Esendex to Host the GSMA at Their London A2P Messaging Lab

NOTTINGHAM, England, October 10, 2018 /PRNewswire/ --

Leading telecommunications company, Esendex, will be hosting and presenting at one of the GSMA's biggest events of the year: The A2P Messaging Lab London.

The A2P Messaging Lab is designed to bring together some of the industry's leading players to discuss operational and commercial requirements for Rich Communication Services (RCS). The session will ensure that RCS becomes an industry-leading business messaging platform, with a focus on bridging the gap between brands and their customers.

The GSMA have invited Esendex to present their approach to RCS at the October event. Their relationship with Google, as a member of their Early Access Program, will enable them to offer their customers early access to RCS for notifications, updates and promtional opportunities, as seen during their live demo at MWC Barcelona.

Jill Cooper, Programme Marketing Director for GSMA commented:

"We are very excited to have Esendex as our keynote speaker at the A2P Messaging Lab in October. Their forward-thinking approach to Rich Messaging is helping to shape the business messaging market."

Esendex's approach will mean that brands can send rich messages to their entire client base, whether they have an RCS-enabled device or not. This is done using their new messaging product, Studio, which will send either an RCS message or a Landing Page message, depending on the capabilities of the end user's phone.

Dave Attenborough, Head of Product at Esendex, is a long-time advocate of RCS and will be presenting the Esendex approach to the future of business messaging at the event.

"We are proud to offer our customers a unique approach to business messaging. These rich messaging campaigns, coupled with the impressive 95% open rate of SMS, should ensure a far more engaging journey for the end user, as well as an improved conversion rate for the brand. This is why we are so excited about RCS and believe it to be the future of business messaging."

The event will take place on Wednesday 24th October and will be held at a stunning venue overlooking London Bridge. For a detailed view of the event visit the Esendex website.
