Digital Map Products Adds Location Technology Veteran Dave Cozzens to Board of Directors

Digital Map Products Inc. (DMP), a leading provider of location intelligence solutions for business and government agencies, announced today the appointment of Dave Cozzens to its board of directors. Cozzens will leverage his deep industry experience to provide consultative guidance around DMP's strategic growth and positioning initiatives and will serve as a valuable resource as DMP pursues its mission to embed location technology into everyday workflows for businesses and governments across North America. The company's location intelligence platform provides over 350,000 users with compelling insights to make confident, data-driven decisions. DMP is backed by Silversmith Capital Partners, a Boston-based growth equity firm.

Cozzens most recently served as the CEO of Telogis (News - Alert), a global enterprise software-as-a-service (SaaS) company providing location technology solutions for fleet and mobile workforce management. Under Cozzens' leadership, Telogis grew from a start-up with $3 million in revenue to one of the dominant players in the rapidly growing connected vehicle/smart mobility market, resulting in its acquisition by Verizon (News - Alert) Communications in August 2016.

"I'm thankful for the opportunity to share my expertise and skills with a location technology company poised for continued growth and one highly focused on the success of its customers," said Cozzens. "I look forward to working with DMP's talented management team to extend the company's market leadership across North America."

Cozzens joined Telogis from Novell (News - Alert) Corporation, where he served as vice president of operations for Novell Americas, a $500 million business encompassing the U.S., Canada and Latin America. Prior to Novell, Cozzens was the vice president of consulting at Cambridge Technology Partners (CTP) before its acquisition by Novell. He also launched and led CTP's Strategy Management Consulting practices in the U.S. and Europe.

"We are excited to welcome Dave to our board of directors," said James Skurzynski, founder and CEO of DMP. "Dave's background and success in location technology combined with his focus on innovation and customer value, will be a tremendous asset as we continue to drive strong demand for ur solutions."
