CalAmp appoints senior vice president of marketing and business developmentDec 12, 2012 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- CalAmp Corp., a provider of wireless products, services and solutions, has appointed Justin Schmid to the position of senior vice president of marketing and business development, with responsibility for corporate marketing, branding, communications and partner relations, as well as overall positioning and global market development. Mr Schmid will report directly to CalAmp's president and CEO, Michael Burdiek. With more than 25 years of experience in high-tech industries, including 16 years in commercial wireless M2M and data communications markets, Mr Schmid has served in executive positions at start-up and later-stage private companies, as well as established public corporations, the company said.
