BRIEF: Edwardsville woman accused of stealing man's iPadJan 30, 2013 (Belleville News-Democrat - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- An Edwardsville woman has been charged with felony theft after she allegedly stole a Granite City man's iPad while he allowed her and a friend into his house to use his phone. According to the Madison County Sheriff's Department, Stacy A. Edwards, 26 of 2900 Sand Road, Lot 38, was visiting a neighbor in Granite City when the pair asked to come into the victim's home to make a phone call. When they left, he discovered his newly-purchased iPad was missing. The victim called the sheriff's department and they located Edwards who allegedly had the iPad in her possession.
