ASGCT Annual Meeting to Highlight Latest Advances in Genetic and Cellular Therapeutics


Milwaukee, WI, May 08, 2013 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) -- The American Society of Gene & Cell Therapy (ASGCT) will be holding its 16th Annual Meeting from May 15th - May 18th, 2013 in Salt Lake City, UT. The meeting, held at the Salt Palace Convention Center, hosts the assembly of 1,300 scientists, postdoctoral fellows and students.



Renowned scientists Dr. Mario Capecchi, (Professor, University of Utah) and Dr. David Baltimore (California Institute of Technology) will share their expertise as the premier guest speakers during two Plenary Sessions.

In addition to presenting the latest scientific developments, the Society will also provide an educational insight into the field to high school, undergraduate, and graduate level students as well as postdoctoral fellows. In partnership with the University of Utah and local area High School Districts, students will gain access into various areas of clinical progress through educational session offerings.
