Understanding and Overcoming Cybersecurity Challenges in the Gaming Industry

Account hijacking

Account hijacking is one of the most common forms of cybercrime in the gaming industry. It allows hackers to take control of a user’s account and use it for their own malicious purposes. To protect gamers, developers should integrate robust authentication techniques, such as two-factor authentication, encryption technology and biometric verification. These techniques aim at safeguarding data communications and guaranteeing that all transactions are carried out safely.
