5 Common Reasons Why Your Work Get Rejected

Students make mistakes all the time. It’s just some mistakes end up costing them dearly. So, when it comes to writing an essay, you better make sure you don’t make the following mistakes. They might get your work rejected. So be smart, and carefully review your work before submission.

1. Featuring Someone Else Instead of Yourself

Students admire certain people in their life. They think of them when it comes to how they want to be like when they grow up. But your school or college doesn’t care about this. They want your work. Your teachers want to learn more about you, not the people you want to be when you grow up.

So, when you write about someone, make sure you have some room to introduce yourself. No one wants you to read the endless content you have written about someone, your relationship, experience and how it helps you discover something new. The enthusiasm is appreciated, but you need to funnel this energy somewhere else.

2. Using the Wrong School Name in Essay

You don’t have to use the school name in your essay. Yes, you can write it in your first draft, but make sure you remove it later. This is a mistake that could cost your essay. If you leave the name on your essay, it just shows the teachers that you were not careful enough to proofread your essay in time.

The fact is, your teachers will let go of a typo, but they might not forgive contextual mistakes. So, you have to be extra careful when you review your work before submission. It's important you work out every issue before you submit the document.

3. Copying from Someone Else

Her is the thing; your teacher is prepared to forgive your mistakes if you did the work yourself, they care about your effort, not perfection. However, if they learn you copied your work entirely form someone else. This is a sure way to ensure rejection. Plagiarism is not a mistake, it's cheating. Just tell yourself you will get caught in the end.

Teachers will notice trends when they review your work. If they find you did it, you probably will get rejected without an explanation. So, you better not do this!

4. Depending on Thesaurus

If you use a thesaurus to find words instead of using the words you use every day, then your essay will no longer sound like you. This is a thing your teacher will notice when they review your work. If you use a word you never used before, there are chances you might use them incorrectly. This will never impress your teacher. No one is looking for the next philosopher in college. They want you to use your voice and words.

With that said, if you want to hire essay help, make sure you mail them some of your writing samples so they can stick with your voice tone.

5. Too Much Help

Yes, you should ask for help from time to time. But if you take too much help, it will do more damage than good. There is a fine line between asking for help and getting too much help. When you start getting words to use in your word, its time you stop getting help. You won't grow or learn this way. So, you best leave it. You don’t want your voice to disappear behind the allotted help.

The same goes for the teacher.  You better focus on the work at hand instead of focusing only on one student. You have to carry the whole class with you. So, empower your students to be independent.
