Imagine Communications Talks Latest News at Dallas Editor's Day

By Allison Boccamazzo, Director of Brand Strategy

It’s undeniable that Imagine Communications (News - Alert), a leader in video and advertising solutions for the media and entertainment industry, is ending 2015 with a bang. The company, which takes pride in offering some of the industry’s most comprehensive end-to-end IP video, workflow, SDN, cloud and SaaS (News - Alert) solutions, has been up to a lot lately. Ramnik Kamo, CMO at Imagine, sat down last month with TMCnet at Dallas Editor’s Day to divulge some of the most exciting developments that have unfolded for the company, including an extended system integration and a number of honors and accolades.

For example, upon meeting with TMCnet, Imagine had newly revealed that its Landmark Agency system, an enterprise advertising software system designed to help users control specific business processes such as media planning and buying and digital asset management, had achieved integration with AD-ID, an advertising industry standard developed by the American Association of Advertising Agencies (4As) and the ANA (Association of National Advertisers).

This system integration represents a critical step forward for the organization, as it will enable its users to more seamlessly and efficiently identify various advertising assets (i.e. advertiser, commercial activity dates) across all media platforms without duplicating entries and avoiding inaccurate data input. The integration ultimately makes this myriad of pertinent data readily available and usable for national, local and multimedia planning and buying modules.

Shortly after meeting with TMCnet at Dallas Editor’s Day, the company revealed that it had been recognized for cloud and virtualization innovation at IBC2015, a world-recognized event held for professionals in the creative arts (i.e. news, entertainment and media). Specifically, Imagine was recognized for its Versio solution, self-described as “the powerful new force in integrated playout.” The solution is touted for its ability to offer unparalleled graphics, DVE and other mix effects, combined with the organization’s bleeding edge automation and server technology. The company also walked away with a “Best of Show” honor at IBC this year for its live and sports production solution, which is ideally suited for live production, slow motion and instant replay operations.
