ShoreTel Considers It's Positioning in the Leaders Quadrant, a Confirmation of Its Commitment

A few days ago, ShoreTel (News - Alert)®, announced that it has been positioned by Gartner (News - Alert), Inc. in the Leaders Quadrant of the Magic Quadrant for Unified Communications as a Service, North America, based on ShoreTel’s Cloud Division with its ShoreTel Sky family of products.

“Vendors in the Leaders quadrant have been delivering complete UCaaS solutions for more than a year, have clients with more than 1,000 subscribers and have more than 100,000 total endpoints in service,” wrote Gartner analysts Daniel O'Connell and Bern Elliot in the Magic Quadrant for Unified Communications (News - Alert) report.

They added that including the ability to service large accounts, these vendors offer comprehensive and integrated UCaaS solutions that directly, or with well-defined partnerships, address the full range of market needs.

For its products in core UCaaS areas, these vendors have defined migration and evolution plans and in order to acquire new clients, as well as to expand its footprints in its client bases to new functional areas, it is using its solution sets.

Dan Hoffman (News - Alert), president of ShoreTel’s Cloud Division stated that by providing enterprise-class voice and UC services that are as easy to use, it considers it’s positioning in the Leaders quadrant by Gartner, a confirmation of its commitment.

He added that in order to support the modern company, the modern workforce, and the new paradigm of mobile work, it will continue to lead the market by delivering product innovations. The transition to a new phone system, according to ShoreTel, does not have to be painful.
