Interface Masters (News - Alert) is a company that specializes in the Bypass and TAP Networking market. The California-based company finds its sweet spot in the Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet networking space, focusing on NICs, embedded switches and TAP systems.

Products from Interface Masters support a variety of technology, including external bypass systems and switches (1Gb and 10Gb), external 1GE and 10GE aggregation TAP systems, and Gigabit and 10GE embedded switches. In addition, Interface Masters products support special server adaptors/NIC (News - Alert) cards supporting: multiport NIC cards (copper, fiber MM and fiber SM); 10/100 Gigabit and 10 Gigabit supporting fiber SX, LX, SR and LR; NIC cards with bypass and security; and PCI (News - Alert)-Express, PCI-X, PMC and PC104 Plus.

The company is a leading vendor it network monitoring and high-speed networking spaces, and its flagship products include hardware load-balancers, specialized 10GE internal server adapter cards, switches, 10 Gigabit external intelligent network TAP and bypass and failover systems that increase network visibility capabilities, network reliability and inline appliance availability.

Interface Masters recently had news about its PacketMaster solution. It is a 10Gb support hybrid system that performs packet manipulation functions for 10G and 10G fiber, supporting 10G and 1G at a much lower cost, using existing infrastructure. It boasts non-blocking chipset technology and functionality that are necessary in today’s market.

“Niagara 4224-24TX is a first-of-its-kind 10GBASE-T system that enables full access and visibility into mission-critical network links on 10GBASE-T, 10G SFP+ fiber, 1G SFP fiber and 1G SFP copper networks,” said Ben Askarinam, founder and CEO at Interface Masters Technologies. “Interface Master’s 1U form factor PacketMaster is based on Interface Masters’ state-of-the-art and proven technology installed at major telcos, MSOs and service providers, providing 960Gbps throughput at an affordable price.”
