iDevices, LLC, an award-winning product development innovator and creator of the iGrill Bluetooth cooking thermometer and iShower water-resistant Bluetooth speaker, unveiled today that they are expanding their operations to new larger offices in Avon, Conn., growing out of their prior space in Canton, Conn.

iDevices is a rapidly growing leading developer of app-enabled products that incorporate wireless connectivity to Apple (News - Alert) and other mobile devices.

Founded in 2010, Connecticut technology company iDevices develops app-enabled products that incorporate wireless connectivity to Apple devices.  In 2010, iDevices developed and launched iGrill, a Bluetooth-enabled cooking thermometer that connects wirelessly to the iPod touch, iPhone (News - Alert) and iPad via a long-range Bluetooth connection.  iGrill allows the user to remotely monitor the food on their grill or in their oven via the iGrill App.  iDevices is also developing a family of products, while working in conjunction with other companies through the iDevices Consulting division.

iDevices also unveiled today the addition of new corporate staff members to its team in the areas of operations, applications development, design, and office management.

“All four bring the expertise and a high level of knowledge to their positions that will allow iDevices to expand our product offerings and user experience,” said Christopher Allen, CEO of iDevices, LLC, in a press release.  “By adding more staff, we’re able to diversify and dig into helping other companies develop their ideas and products, as well as enhance current ones.”

John Hoffert joins iDevices as chief operating officer with 25 years of professional experience. He received an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut.

Michael Nannini joins the team as an Applications Developer with seven years of mobile applications development experience. Nannini recently served as the lead mobile developer for Exploria SPS in Cromwell, Conn., leaving that company for iDevices.  Before Exploria, he held a position at Venan Entertainment, also in Cromwell.  Nannini graduated from the University of Connecticut with a BS in Engineering and Computer Science.

Sally Knowles joins the team as Marketing & Design director with 16 years of experience. Knowles graduated from Pratt Institute with a BFA in Computer Graphics & Graphic Design.  In her career, she spent time at a Fortune 50 company, as an entrepreneur and as the communications design manager for a national non-profit.  Knowles has won awards for her designs and excels at providing creative solutions to both print marketing campaigns and interactive projects.

Livia Liburdi joins the team as office manager/executive assistant with many years of office experience from a variety of industries. Liburdi brings a solid customer service background, operational support and budgetary knowledge to iDevices. She graduated from Middlesex Community College with an associate’s degree in 2009, and currently attends the University of Hartford’s Barney School of Business, working towards a bachelor’s degree in Marketing.
