2012 Unified Communications TMC Labs Innovation Award Call for Entries

Norwalk, CT (February 16, 2012) —TMC, a global, integrated media company helping clients build communities in print, in person and online, has announced the Fifth Annual Unified Communications TMC Labs Innovation Award, sponsored by INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine.

The TMC (News - Alert) Labs Innovation Award honors the industry’s most ground-breaking products in the unified communications world. Innovation comes not only in creating new technologies but frequently involves taking an existing idea and improving upon it. Challenging established standards and introducing different approaches often yields distinctive results.

For Tom Keating, Chief Technology Officer and Executive Technology Editor for TMC Labs, unified communications continues to see astounding growth in the last year.

“Once again I look forward to seeing all the new UC solutions that are making an impact on the industry. The TMC Labs Innovation Awards are the industry’s most highly regarded awards and only the most advanced solutions that meet the stringent criteria of the Innovation Awards are selected,” Keating said. “It’s not a matter of the biggest company or highest selling product but rather the most technologically innovative that makes the elite list of winners.”

According to TMC CEO Rich Tehrani, TMC Labs is seeking trendsetters in unified communications solutions.

“The companies whose products break the mold with a new product launch or devised a brilliant spin to an existing application should apply,” Tehrani said. “TMC Labs engineers have extensive knowledge of the UC market and are anxious to begin their search for companies to honor with this award. Only those companies that show their out-of-box thinking to transform the industry will be honored.”

TMC Labs profiles each of the winning vendors with individual, in-depth reviews in INTERNET TELEPHONYmagazine’s June 2012 issue.

TMC Labs is the industry’s only in-house testing lab providing objective analysis for the communications and technology market.

Early bird applications are due February 29, 2012. Final Deadline is March 22, 2012. Learn more about the Unified Communications (News - Alert) TMC Labs Innovation Award and apply here.
