Businesses Reaching for Lead Management Software in Tough Economy

As companies continue to tighten their belts amidst a restricting economy, more and more are searching out new solutions designed to generate potential business.

Now, perhaps more than ever, businesses are looking to lead management software to help streamline and create an ordered structure for managing business inquiries, and turning these leads into customers.

Dallas-based lead management software provider VanillaSoft is one company at the forefront of creating lead management techniques that are reshaping the way automation systems are looked at.

The company’s lead management solutions are designed for outbound telephone sales from small business to large enterprise. The company’s on-demand software is designed to make managing leads, sales calls and inside sales teams easier. The software offers autodialing on more telephone systems than any other solution, including the Skype (News - Alert) and X-Lite soft phone, most major office telephone systems, and many internet telephone providers, a according to the company.

In addition, the lead management software is for making lots of list-based sales calls and setting appointments.

Ken Murray, co-founder and chairman of VanillaSoft, says the company’s software is capable of boosting a team's call productivity by 50 percent or more, while handling the distribution of leads to sales people representatives.

The Lead Management Software includes auto dialer functionality (preview and progressive) across any phone system ( Voice-over-IP), call recording, real-time call management dashboard, team-based telemarketing call scripts, customizable reporting, dynamic call routing, Do-Not-Call Compliance (News - Alert), time zone call management, immediate Web import of online leads, pre-configured mail merge documents and e-mail templates, and more.

From the moment a lead is imported until it reaches its final destination, VanillaSoft software is designed to track and report on the status of the leads. At the same time, while each time a lead is accessed and dispositioned, VanillaSoft records who accessed it, the results and the time the lead was on the agent’s desktop.

With dynamic Web reporting, all leads can be grouped and reported on by source, date, agents or other criteria. There has never been an easier system that is so complete.

As TMCnet recently reported, VanillaSoft is gearing up for a big 2009, with several initiatives on its plate including opening up its flagship product to the reseller network in the second quarter.

The lead management software maker expects the first resellers to come online in Q2, 2009 and be actively representing the product in Q3 of 2009. The initial focus will be on expanding the network in the United States, Canada and Europe.

"We have thought very carefully about how we want VanillaSoft distributed and introduced to customers,” said Murray. “We have always been about the customer experience and dedicated to the highest levels of customer satisfaction."
