Start your engines sport car road racing fans, now you’re going to be included in the action too. Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series reportedly has settled on a new document and business solutions, choosing Toshiba America Business Solutions and the TABS-sponsored mobile business solutions center to manage each event throughout its racing series.
Under the new partnership between Toshiba (News - Alert) and Grand-Am Road Racing, Grand-Am teams, drivers, media and race officials can use Toshiba’s mobile business solutions center as a transportable office and production center. Toshiba will provide them facilities such as color printing, copying, scanning and faxing capabilities on Toshiba’s award-winning e-STUDIO4520c multifunction product.
“Toshiba is revved-up about the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series,” said Kay Fernandez, vice president of marketing at TABS. “Grand-Am Road Racing has allowed us to offer much more than sponsoring the event in name only. Toshiba is thrilled to provide a full-service office environment featuring Toshiba’s award-winning technology at each race location to help keep race teams connected and productive on the road.”
In addition to providing printing and scanning facilities, Toshiba will also provide laptop stations, wireless Internet connection, refreshments and conference rooms with a Toshiba HD LCD TV and a Toshiba projector. For enthusiasts who can’t get a piece of the action in person, Toshiba will set up the SPEED channel where it will run live on a Toshiba Regza LCD TV.
The company recently introduced a new series of high-voltage pi-MOS VII MOSFETs that integrate advanced process technology with a planar process to offer a wide selection of voltage and R ratings. The new lineup addresses market requirements for AC/DC and ballast applications, achieved through use of the company’s seventh generation pi-MOS process, a high level of cell integration and optimization of the cell design.
