iPOWOW and MediaTile to Demonstrate Real-Time Video Rating Technology
By Calvin Azuri, TMCnet Contributor
iPOWOW and MediaTile have announced they will work together to demonstrate real-time video rating technology, a new research technology that wraps a survey interface around any online video so viewer opinions and ratings can be collected in real-time.
The demonstration will take place on 42 inch Samsung touch screen displays located in the Alcatel/Lucent / ng Connect Program booth #2503 in the Venetian Veronese area of CES (News - Alert).
According to Gary Davis, CEO of iPOWOW!, CES is a great platform to showcase how disruptive this technology is, especially for marketers looking for a highly interactive way to add digital signage to reach their audience and collect valuable consumer intelligence and demographic information.

Davis also noted that the tool not only engages multiple viewers, but also collects instant data on how video content resonates with them.
The demonstration will specifically showcase the capabilities of adding interactive audience measurement to MediaTile’s cellular digital signage solution.
Roger Sanford, head of MediaTile’s MediaServices division said the iPOWOW! analytics tools are in sync with MediaTile’s Return on Message methodology for effectively measuring and improving the impact of content.
Sanford said that now, MediaTile will be able to add Interactive Audience (News - Alert) Measurement or “I-AM” directly into its “ROM in Real Time” metrics – so brands and retailers can fully understand consumer and viewer interests which are key in messaging and merchandising strategies.
