Incipio Unveils New Accessories for iPhone, iPad at CES

Smartphone accessories designer Incipio unveiled at CES 2014 a new Bluetooth Low Energy-enabled camera case and app for the iPhone (News - Alert) 5 and 5s that when used together can enhance the phone’s camera with dedicated zoom and shutter buttons.
The Focal Camera Case for iPhone 5/5s, according to the company, has a programmable short-cut button that allows users to hold their phone with one hand without obstructing the camera and flash. The case also features an aluminum finish, a no-slip finger grip made of vegan leather and up to 400 hours of battery life. The case comes in a variety of colors and will cost consumers $79.99.
"The iPhone 5/5s camera is the world's most popular camera and Focal™ equips users with the tool for an optimal iPhone 5/5s camera experience, while providing device protection," Chief Executive Andy Fathollahi said in a statement. "Focal and inCAMERA replicate traditional camera functionality for the iPhone 5/5s allowing users to have the ability to capture the perfect shot."
Incipio also announced at CES (News - Alert) that it has expanded its offGRID power solutions line to include the offGRID Backup Backup Battery Case for iPhone 5c. The case doubles the battery life of the phone with 17mAh battery capacity and offers an additional eight hours of extended talk time. It also has a camera ring for glare reduction. The case costs $69.99 and will be available in a few months, according to the company.
The company also unveiled a new line of iPad accessories at the show, including the Prompt ($39.99), a device that uses glowing colored lights to alert users of incoming calls, texts, emails or calendar appointments, and a desktop charging station ($39.99) that can charge two iPads simultaneously at a high speed. Incipio also demoed the Mix & Match Folio ($14.99-$24.99), which features a removable front and cover base, and the Steno Keyboard Folio ($89.99-$99.99) with a sliding keyboard and front and back shell casing.
