At CES this week, Panasonic announced a new Panasonic Multi-room Hi-Fi System, which incorporates the features of the Qualcomm (News - Alert) AllPlay smart media platform. New models, including the SC-ALL8 and SC-ALL3 Wireless Speaker Systems and the SH-ALL1C Network Audio Connector, will soon be available from the Panasonic (News - Alert) online shop.

Qualcomm explained that speakers and audio devices enabled with AllPlay can wirelessly work together throughout the home. Users can play music from their phone, tablet or the cloud across multiple zones for a party mix in the living room, and easily attain high-quality whole home audio. The AllPlay smart audio platform makes it easy to develop, deliver and differentiate high-quality multi-room experiences that deliver new value to both high-end and mass-market consumers.

The new Panasonic multi-room speaker system can be leveraged easily from users’ iOS or Android (News - Alert) smartphone or tablet, to transmit music wirelessly throughout the house with a music subscription service or Internet radio.

The new Panasonic multi-room speaker models are stated to be built with an elegant design highlighted by the oval-shaped sides on their slim, stylish bodies. Advanced features like LincsD-Amp jitter correction, XBS Master amplification, distortion control and H.BASS enable the speakers to deliver crisp and clear audio while the incorporated AllPlay platform gives users a new level of control over their musical environment.
