It seems that today products need to have more than just one function. The fast pace in which people live their lives almost requires multi-function devices. The less you have to carry combined with the more that you can do results in a happy person. BRAVEN combines Bluetooth technology with its speakers. In addition, the speakers can be used to charge smartphones and tablets.

At this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES (News - Alert)), BRAVEN will introduce three new speakers to its line. The three new Bluetooth speaker models are: the 850, 570 and the waterproof BRV-1.

BRAVEN’s 850 model is similar to its popular Six Series speakers. It is a much larger desktop speaker which measures about one foot long containing a speaker that is less than a foot. That makes it about four times the size of BRAVEN’s flagship Six Series. The housing is made using aircraft grade aluminum. You can connect and pair two units wirelessly to form a right and left speaker unit. When it comes out later this year, the price tag (News - Alert) will be $299.99. You can use this unit to charge your smartphone, other 2.1A devices or tablet. In addition to being able to use the BRAVEN 850 to charge your phone, it can also act as a speakerphone. If you are listening to music with your phone connected and it rings, the act of answering your phone will automatically switched the BRAVEN 850 into speakerphone mode.

The BRAVEN BRV-1 (which is pictured in the above image) is a waterproof model. It is extremely rugged and is meant for the outdoor enthusiasts. It can provide up to 12 hours of music. The speaker itself is small. It is a palm sized model but it packs a large sound. It will be available in February and cost $169.99

Rounding out the three new speakers that BRAVEN is introducing at CES 2013 is the BRAVEN 570. This model is the basic Six Series model, but without the metal case and with a smaller battery. The battery in the BRAVEN 570 will last about 10 hours. You can get this model in a colored plastic casing. The BRAVEN 570 will have the lowest price tag at $119.99.
