An Incredibly Smarter Television Thanks to Panasonic

Television companies have to keep up in today’s technology race in order to keep users enthralled, as there are so many mobile devices that can provide the same functions. For the next generation of televisions creating new forms of entertainment, this means offering customers more than just switching through channels.

To answer this demand for change, Panasonic revealed its 2013 collection at CES (News - Alert) 2013, where one of the most mesmerizing products was its DT60 line of Smart TVs.

The company’s new collection of Smart TVs has essentially completely challenged the idea of providing an innovative, truly personalized user experience. Tipping the scale for what an average TV boasts, Panasonic (News - Alert) has created a new level of engagement for its users, starting with its new home screen.

The Smart TV interface boasts a feature called My Home Screen, a new personalized homepage that pre-organizes users’ favorite content from multiple sources, where each user will get his or her own screen based on specific preferences.

The TVs will be available in two sizes, 55-inch or 60-inch, and along with the personalized system, users will be able to use the Swipe & Share 2.0. This allows users to transport photos and videos from their smartphones or tablet. With the swipe of your finger, users can put on a show or even add writing to the images to create a new design, which can then be sent via e-mail.

The Smart TV also solves problems associated with losing the remote – something we’ve all inevitably suffered – as it offers Voice Interaction/Guidance that give users the ability to control the TV by speaking commands into their Panasonic remote or smartphone. You can also use three HDMI ports and three USB ports for enhanced connectivity, powered by a Dual Core processor with a Hexa Processing Engine.

This new wave of DT60 line from Panasonic is said to be available for purchase in the spring of 2013, where many television lovers are already anticipating its arrival.
