H&J to Unveil Wireless Charging System at CES

It seems that being able to charge our mobile devices, without having a ton of wires to deal with, has been something that people have wanted since mobile devices came onto the scene. There have been a growing number of devices that have worked toward this goal, but for whatever reason it still isn’t a big market. Powermat first released their wireless charging system in 2009 at CES (News - Alert) and since that time, companies have tried to do it better.   Kirk H & J will be debuting its own wireless device charging system, the iNPOFi (iNvisible Power Field).

The whole line of iNPOFi wireless charging systems is able to work with a large range of mobile devices; including the iPhone 4S and the Android (News - Alert) powered Samsung Galaxy SIII. As with any wireless charging system, this particular system allows people to no longer have to deal with the massive amount of cords that can come into play when trying to keep your battery charged up. What sets this particular system apart is that it works at a higher efficiency rate compared to some of the other well-known wireless charging systems.

This particular charging system also offers up the ability to charge a phone using a low power USB cord, when there isn’t a wall socket available.   The iNPOFi is one of the only charging board systems that will actually tell you what your phones battery power level is and the board will shut off once the phone is fully charged. These  features means that your mobile device will have a longer battery life, while avoiding the chance of having a short circuit plague other wireless charging systems.

If there is one drawback to the system that will be rolled out at this year’s CES it is its inability to charge the iPhone 5. iPhone users can take solace in the fact that Apple (News - Alert) might be rolling out its own wireless charging system in the near future.
