Verizon Wireless Network Customers Can Now Get Hooked to Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7
Starting this month, the high-definition Samsung (News - Alert) Galaxy Tab 7.7 can be bought from Verizon Wireless Communications Stores and online. Verizon Wireless made this announcement at the recent Consumer Electronics Show. With this, the users can now watch movies, pictures and a game through the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7’s Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen display.
Super AMOLED Plus offers the best color gamut, contrast ratio, sharpness and response time that makes viewing text clearer and sharper. Users can hold it any angle, but are sure to get the picture always crisp and vivid, especially since the 7.7" WXGA display offers the highest pixel density among tablets in the market.
In addition, the customers can get hooked to the web, stream music and more at fast speeds using the Verizon Wireless (News - Alert) 4G LTE network combined with a 1.4 GHz dual-core processor and HTML 5 Web browser.
The Galaxy Tab 7.7 features an innovative metal design resulting in one of the most easily portable devices available. Its slim body measures only 7.89mm, which is thinner than a pencil, and weighs only 340g. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 is designed to fit in a coat pocket or purse and it is comfortable to hold whether you're sitting, walking or lying down.
The new set supports Android (News - Alert) 3.2 Honeycomb, Google Mobile Services, including Gmail, YouTube, Google Talk with video chat, Google Search, Google Maps, as well as access to Google Books, movie rentals and more than 400,000 apps on Android Market.
Those that are interested can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 in Verizon Wireless Communications Stores and online for $499.99 with a new two-year customer agreement. In addition, the customers purchasing the Tab 7.7 will need to subscribe to a 4G LTE (News - Alert) mobile broadband data package starting at $30 monthly access for 2 GB of data.
