A carrier’s carrier, that’s how COO Erik Contag describes the operation of his company GlobeNet. Starting out as a small telecom provider in Bermuda the company has since expanded to become one of the largest networks in Brazil and the South American continent as a whole. The company boasts over 22,000 kilometers of network wire and offers a connection availability of 99.99%. Erik was here in Miami for ITEXPO East’s pre-show editor day, he stopped by to discuss GlobeNet’s place in a quickly evolving industry.
