Susan Bailey is Vice President – Americas Sales, Global Accounts, Channels & Alliances at Avaya Inc. where her responsibilities include U.S. and Canadian Sales, Global Accounts as well as accountability for the Caribbean and Latin American Region, the Worldwide Channel & Alliance Programs, the Large Enterprise and Public Sector Segments and the centralized Pre-sales Support Team.

A highly accomplished executive with 22 years of broad-based general management experience in the global information technology industry, Susan has built a solid reputation on a track record of increasing sales and gross margins, developing and growing new business segments, designing innovative marketing strategies, redefining business processes and controlling expenses.

Prior to joining Avaya, Susan was Corporate Vice President, North American Sales & Service, Global Channels and Strategic Alliances at StorageTek, a $2 billion data storage products manufacturer and integrator. Earlier in her career, Susan was President of En Pointe Technologies, a $600 million computing products value added reseller and integrator, and Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Services for the Reseller Network of Intelligent Electronics, a $3.6 billion provider of information technology products and services. Intelligent Electronics was purchased by Ingram Micro in July 1997. In addition, Susan spent 13 years at IBM in various sales, marketing, management and executive positions.

Raised in Southern California, Susan graduated from UCLA with a BS in Political Science, and attended the INSEAD Executive Management Program in Fountainbleau, France. She lives in Greenwood Village, Colorado, with her husband, Steve, and two children, Nick and Katie.
