By all accounts, 2017 is shaping up to be a big year for VoIP. Countless studies, companies and articles have suggested that the VoIP services market is going to hit its stride in the coming years, making communications much easier for everyone who has hopped on the bandwagon.

Unified communications have been a game-changer over the past few years. Since becoming mainstream, UC has enabled work processes and communications to become much easier. Employees are able to work on the go and remotely without having to worry about missing out on important information or not being able to reach coworkers if need be-they get all the perks of working in an office, without having to sit at the same desk every day.

Christian Jensen is chief evangelist of Sinch, a cloud-based, mobile communications platform that makes it easy to add IM, SMS, verification, video, and voice to apps. We recently spoke with Jensen, who will be a speaker at ITEXPO next month, to get a better idea of how Sinch is using important architectures and technologies like AI, analytics, cloud, and UC, both inside its organization and to reach and serve customers.
