US Phone Selects Telastic to Expand Call Center Business

By Nathesh, TMCnet Contributor

Pac-West, a provider of communications infrastructure services, announced at the ITEXPO that its Telastic fully-managed hosted VoIP solution will help US Phone (News - Alert) expand its call center business.

California based communications provider US Phone asserted that its growth created the need for an upgrade to its systems for supporting its customers' call center operations around the world. Telastic offers it an extensive set of service-based call center IP-PBX (News - Alert) features, and was up and running right away. Most importantly - the Telastic service-based approach provides US Phone a pay-as-you-go pricing model that allowed continuing its rapid growth without concern for capital constraints.

US Phone added that it also continues to partner with industry thought-leaders to distribute a complete suite of IP telephony software, solutions and applications.

Telastic provides a comprehensive set of core telecom components available as on-demand services – from border controller technology to application scalability to wholesale VoIP and PBX white-label offerings – that enable carriers and service providers to adopt a service-based approach that is easy to adopt, scalable and cost-effective.

TMCnet reported that Telastic complements Pac-West’s (News - Alert) present telephony services including toll-free services, local origination and termination of any phone number anywhere in the world. Also, the Telastic solution set includes key telecom service components such as a feature-rich SBC, white-label VoIP and IP-PBX services, certified third-party applications and telephony infrastructure as-a-service offerings.

“We are very pleased to count US Phone as a next-generation service provider realizing the benefits of Telastic,” said Vic Bozzo, president and general manager of the Telastic business unit at Pac-West. “As an emerging leader in the call center space, they recognize the near-term economics and long-term potential of a service-based model. Telastic offers them an alternative that gives better functionality, faster, and at a fraction of the price.”
